We decided Thursday morning to take a weekend getaway to St George, leaving that afternoon.  We were lucky to find a hotel with an indoor pool.  We took Ashley swimming for the first time.  She was a cutie in her pink swimsuit.  She did great!

 

 

We went and visited Grandma and Grandpa Moore’s house in St George.  It was a walk down memory lane.  I remember the time Kevin got a new remote control car and he wouldn’t let me drive it, so I told him the car needed exercise and driving it more would make it stronger.  It only took a couple minutes of fun before he called my bluff.

We went to the driving range again and we both showed significant improvements over last year’s trip.

 

It happened that my coworker was down in Mesquite at their family’s house.  They invited us to come down and visit.  We drove down in the evening and hung out for a bit then went and got Chinese food.  They have a little boy named Jack.  He and Ashley have been emailing and texting back and forth flirting it up.  They finally got to meet.

 

On the way back, we stopped at Cove Fort.  I remember stopping there as a kid and looking through the port holes.

 

It was a great trip.  Definitely different than last years trip.  We are looking to make it a tradition.
