After working with Mom and Dad on the rental house remodel, we decided to jump in and finally start our bathroom remodel.

Removing the inside storm window.

All the glass is out.

Upon removing the main window, we discovered the flange that was holding the window in.  There was also a 2 inch gap between the house wall and the brick wall.

We cut the frame in a couple of spots, and then just had to pry it out.  It ripped up the wall a little, but there wasn’t any way around it.

Getting ready to install the new window

Kevin came over to help us.  Because of the 2 inch gap between the brick wall and the interior wall, we had to frame in some pieces of wood to give the window something to screw to.

It’s in!

Wall paper is coming down.

Toilet is out.  Just have the last little bit off wallpaper to get off.

The mirror and light are off.

The carpet coming out.  We found old linoleum underneath.

More to come as it comes.  We can’t wait to give this bathroom its big makeover.
