We’ve been having a great summer. Lot’s and lot’s of fun things going on besides just working on the basement 🙂 Here are some of the favorite pictures.
We had a neighborhood BBQ over at our place. Lot’s of fun! Ashley asked if we could get the sidewalk chalk out. It was a hit!
Foil dinners up the canyon with Kathryn’s brother Adam and friend Brother Brandon.
Ashley helping Gomp (Grandpa Tim) take care of his plants.
Sunday dinner BBQ with Kathryn’s family.
We recently watched all 6 of the Star Wars movies over the course of a couple of weeks. After doing some internet research, we decided to watch them in this order: 4-5-1-2-3-6. It was a great way to watch them. You start out with the original movies 4 and 5. Once you find out that Vadar is Luke’s father, then you have a flashback to the past to learn about that story. Once Anakin becomes Vadar, flashback is over and you’re back to Luke. He’s now a Jedi and you see how Anakin really does bring back balance to the force when he destroys the emperor. If you’re going to watch the Star Wars movies, I highly recommend watching them in that order.
Ashley didn’t actually watch any of the movies with us, but she’s still a fan.
We flew the Green Dragon plane for the first time in a long while. It makes me pretty nervous to fly, especially when I’m out of practice. It’s such a fast plane!
Kathryn pulled out 20 plus little walnut trees growing out of the backyard. Check out the little walnut on the bottom.
And the grand finale for this post. Check out this rainbow! It was the best one I’ve ever seen. Totally amazing!
