Happy October. We hope you had a spooktacular Halloween. We had lots of fun this year.
We got our yard all cleaned up, and lots of plants trimmed back, leaves raked up, and walnuts picked up.
This was a solid bale of leaves, branches, and grass. It took quite a while to unload!
With everything cleaned up, we could finally put up our spooky spider web and huge 3D printed spiders.
To celebrate my childhood memories, we made some cheesecloth ghosts this year. We used a 3/4 liquid starch and 1/4 water mixture with water bottles, little balloons, and some wire for the forms. It worked really well.
Eliza has absolutely fallen in love with the movie Frozen. She was Elsa for Halloween, and pretty much every other day too.
Kathryn had her TSO Halloween concert. She did awesome, and we got to bring the kids (including Ben) as well.
Kathryn made this amazing Hela costume. This was several nights of work. The theme of the concert was bad guys and villains.
The costumes at the TSO are some of the best you’ll see around.
We had a fun Sunday get together with Kathryn’s family as well. Check out this little brat pack in the making.
Ashley was a puppy dog this year. She got to dress up at school for the parade and then they put on a little concert showing off all the halloween songs they’ve been learning.
Time for Trick-or-Treating! It was nippy out! I carried Landon around till my arm was about to fall off and we called it quits.
The girls both had an impressive haul, even after the parental candy tax was taken out.
