This little trailer has been a good worker and hauled some impressive loads over the years. This time it was a large pile of sticks from our walnut tree trim project. Since we already had the trailer out, we told the kids we would take the ATV and the “mo-mo” out for a ride once we got our projects done. It was impressive to see how much Landon worked picking up sticks. The girls were rather occupied playing, but hey, they let us work so that was worth something.
With the work done, we headed for the mountains. Here we are up near the top of Powerhouse Mountain. The wildflowers were in full bloom.
Look what we found! I haven’t seen a Horny Toad in ages!
Landon’s shirt was perfect for this. “It’s my smile that gets me out of trouble.” Doesn’t it seem like Mr. Horny Toad has a smirk?
Kathryn is actually quite an experienced lizard catcher due to a lot of practice with her brothers.
