Some highlights from late fall, 2025.
Landon and I went on our first single-track ride together up Maple Canyon. We had a great time!

Kathryn kept the house running like a boss. Zoey’s favorite place is the warm laundry pile.

We went surfing, and our 4-year-old took a great picture.

Speaking for our 4-year-old, here’s a great picture of her with her beautiful mom.

The kids raked leaves while I mowed the lawn for the last time of the season.

Day 1. Pretty incredible how fast that tooth came down. We’re just so relieved there was actually a tooth there after all these years.

Adam and Shalyn hosted the Hawker clan for Thanksgiving at their beautiful new home in St. George. Adam cooked a terrific turkey.

We finally got to play the cellophane game that Suzanne has been holding onto for a year. I got a couple pieces of gum. Kathryn got enough gift cards to feed the family for a week. Nice!

We enjoyed a walk around Pioneer Park. The girls were so fun with Gavin.

We came back to the crack to see if we could still fit. Note: this was actually before the big dinner.

But we both made it. Check that off for another year.

Landon’s on top of the world, hey!

We were just getting buckled up to leave when we heard the sound of the ice cream truck coming up the hill. How could we not?

There must be a childhood memory buried somewhere in me, because I love a strawberry shortcake ice cream bar from an ice cream truck.

I’m sure it came from a moment just like this in my distant past.

Is this a picture of two amazing ladies, or a picture of a turkey vase? You decide.

We enjoyed a lovely walk through the Holiday Lights at Red Hills Desert Garden.

Then we visited Nielsen’s for a tasty treat. The kids were getting sleepy on the way back to the house, so I started doing some erratic driving and the kids played a game of jello. That Kia Carnival has never been so sporty. Luckily, we did not get pulled over.

Break from Thanksgiving. I love looking through pictures because I stumble on fun surprises like this one. What a cutie!

Hanging out with a star performer from Handel’s Messiah with the TSO.

Landon will be turning 8 next year, so he got to attend the baptism preview. Check out the swag he got.

This is my favorite part: seeing what creations the kids make.

Santa came to visit Springville. What a great guy!

Kathryn, Ashley, Eliza, and I met Tim and his brother Greg to watch the Christmas concert. It was quite an amazing production.
