It’s official. Summer has arrived. Here is a smattering of what’s been going on.
Here is my carpool gang from this year on the last day of school!

Dirt bike outing with Kathryn up Hobble Creek.

Eliza and Friends Piano Recital

Hiked Maple Mountain / Spanish Fork Peak.

We wanted hamburgers, but didn’t have any buns. So we made some homemade ones. They were so-so. Too sweet for burgers, but the bread tasted good.

Family bike ride, with Kacho pulling Zoey on the way home.

Pretty windy day. In the end, we were hitting the roller like we were a jet ski seeing how high we could get the bow up.

Dirt biked to the top of Strawberry Peak.

Josie and Jimmy came to visit. Avery’s birthday, and then a cousin swap while Ashley went to the CSI Music Camp.

I helped Dad get started planting this field of beans. No GPS here, just pure straight line skill.

Family drive up in the mountains behind our house.

This has been a favorite spot over the years.

Let’s hope we don’t end up with another smokey year like this one though.

All 4 kids did a Patriotic Camp for a week. They worked hard memorizing things and learning about the founding of the country.

I hiked Santaquin Peak. If I can manage, I’d love to do all Wasatch 7 again this year. 2 down.

Landon with his candle he made at the Patriotic Camp.

Eliza has been having so much fun with face paint this year. She bought her own kit and has been practicing. At the IMSAR summer party, she learned from the pros. Maybe she’ll get a gig as a face painter some day.

Kathryn had her studio recital, featuring Kenai as his Senior Recital. Very impressive.
