Kathryn and I had the chance to go on a trip to the Pacific Northwest.  I’ve gone there several times for work, but Kathryn’s never had the chance to come along.  So, we planned a special trip with just the two of us.  Thanks to Suzanne, Tim, Kevin, and Bethany for watching the girls for us.  I put together a video of the trip.  Here it is.

K&L Trip through Oregon and Washington. Sights include the Columbia River Gorge, Beacon Rock, Hood River, Mount Hood, Ape Caves, Seattle sights, Coldplay concert, Astoria Column, Cannon Beach, Ecola State Park, and Tillamook.

I got a chance to go on an awesome dirt bike ride with a new friend Dave and his buddies.  We went to the White Wash Sand Dunes.  It was fantastic.  I put together this clip of the ride.  I can’t wait to get down there again.

Ashley was looking forward to some key events all happening around the same time at the end of summer.  It was how she measured time and she’d ask again and again how they were coming along.

She was so excited for all these things, and they all happened right on schedule.  So much fun in a 10 day period!
