Smiles

I was looking through our recent pictures and noticed quite a few smiles. I thought I’d share some of them here.

Kathryn and her violin, clarinet, and piano trio were invited to play at the Springville Museum for their Sunday Concert Series. She was wonderful and played so beautifully. Proud of this girl!

This smile was not caught on camera, but is happening now as you look at this hilarious candid shot!

Zoey loves RC cars! One of her favorite activities is to watch it race around and occasionally catch it.

Last picture before the braces come off. (For a couple years anyway.)

Smooth!

First day of braces, the very next day after Ashley got her’s off. Gotta make room for those lateral incisors to be able to come down on their own.

Keep smiling, even when you don’t feel like it.

Snowmobiling bluebird powder day!

Fresh trim.

Sandwich bar creation.

More RC car please!

Sometimes they play nice together…

Snow Canyon sand dunes during our quick St. George getaway.

Love the shadow! Love the fact we got to see the blue sky and the sun!

Not Florida, but still worth a big smile.

March snowstorm shovel buddy.

Big Kids

Here are some of the fun things the big kids have been up to.

Kathryn’s birthday

Electric kart racing with Kathryn’s brothers. Kathryn was amazing, not letting her brothers show her up at all.

She’s my number 1 for sure!

This was an incredible January for snowmobiling!

New craft room desk.

Kathryn got a new calling as the Primary Gospel Doctrine Teacher.

I’ve been having fun making lots of pies. Mom says he who makes pie, gets to eat pie (and share it).

Kathryn had a TSO concert. They played some incredible music, including the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto. Check it out if you’ve never heard it. Incredible.

Valentines day pancakes.

I got a new 3D printer. It’s a huge “delta” printer. It was a ton of work to set up and get working, but now we’re able to print some really fun and large pieces.

Date night walk up Maple Canyon.

Happy Holidays 2022

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I saw a poll in the news the other day saying that only 1 in 3 Americans said that 2022 was a great year. There have certainly been a lot of struggles happening around the world inside and outside of our country. However, Kathryn and I looked back through 2022 and considered on the amazing progress our kids have made, and the good things we’ve done and the places we’ve gone, we both felt that 2022 was a great year for our family. We are mindful of all the the people struggling and feeling sad and pray that their situations can improve and that we can be agents of good in our spheres of influence to lift and help those that we can.

One of the ways that I love to count my many blessings is through pictures. They help me freeze special moments and remember the joy and excitement of each moment.

Placing the star on the tree. This year, it was Zoey’s turn. She did a wonderful job.

Gingerbread houses

Tabernacle Choir Christmas Concert. It was a wonderful program and a really cool moment to have everyone light up their phones for one of the numbers.
