Yeah! The bathroom remodel project is done! Well, 99% anyway. Many thanks to Kevin for all of his help, and to Kathryn for all of her help! It’s come a long ways!

These pictures are from back in April. The time has just gotten away from us this summer! We put on a new countertop surface and cut in the sink hole.
Then we put on the backsplash and the mirror. Kevin came and helped us put in the sink. It was a little tricky because it is a heavy cast iron sink held in with a houdini ring. Kevin basically laid under the counter and held up the sink while we quickly installed the hangers and tightened them down.
Here is a shot of Kathryn hard at work. She was a tremendous help on this bathroom project and I want to make sure she gets plenty of credit. Not shown is that she grouted and sealed the tile all by herself. It was like magic when I came home from work and it was done!
Here are some fun pictures from our date night adventure.
We started it off with snow cones at the splash pad in Springville. Then we got some good greasy food from the gas station grill. After that, we decided to go on a drive up Hobble Creek canyon. What started as a quick drive ended up into a long, 18 mile rocky windy trip on the road on the backside of Y mountain lasting late into the night. We did the whole loop and came out in Provo canyon. It’s something we’ve wanted to do for a long time. I did it several years ago on a dirt bike with my friend James. We were glad that Darbus (the CR-V) made it through without any problems. Ashley was a real trooper and seemed to enjoy the ride. She even helped out driving for a minute. We live in a beautiful area!
